Spurs to Reignite Interest in Bruno Fernandes

James Whaling of the Mirror is reporting that Tottenham will look to sign Bruno Fernandes in January. The North London club are resigned to losing Christian Eriksen and see the Sporting Lisbon midfielder as the perfect replacement.

Eriksen’s contract is up at the end of the season and Spurs will not want to lose him for free. Real Madrid is believed to be his destination of choice and Madrid are keen. Thus, Tottenham could then step up their interest in attacking midfielder Fernandes in January.

Mandzukic Set For Manchester United

According to Neil Fissler of the Express, Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic has reached a verbal agreement to move to Old Trafford. The 33-year-old is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s top target in January. Solskjaer is desperate to add firepower to his squad; United are struggling with just two goals in their last six games.

Italian Giants Juventus, are eager to offload the Croatian star. However, they have told United they will need to pay £10 million for Mandzukic who turns 34 next May. The veteran has scored 33 goals for his country. He retired from international football after winning a silver medal in the 2018 World Cup.

United Keen on Rice

Staying with Manchester United, a report by Alex Fenn of the Mail claims United are keen to sign Declan Rice. The West Ham United and England midfielder is thought to be on the Red Devil’s radar. A bid of around £70 million could test The Hammers in January.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to look for homegrown talent to improve his squad and are considering Rice. The 20-year-old only signed a new deal with West Ham last summer and appears to be happy where he is.

Galatasaray Defender Wanted by Wolves

Birmingham Live are reporting that Wolverhampton Wanderers are in interested in defender Christian Luyindama. The Congo international was a target for rivals Aston Villa before moving to Turkey from Standard Liege during the summer.

Wolves and West Ham have reportedly sent scouts to watch the defender this season. Luyindama cost Galatasaray €6 million in the summer and has made nine appearances. Currently, it is unclear whether the Turkish club would be willing to sell so soon after signing the player.
